Haunted Trails in Osprey
Posted by Osprey Real Estate on
This spooky October, come to Osprey to be scared on a Haunted Walk of the trails of Oscar Scherer State Park!
Getting a scare is the best part of Halloween. So, if you are a brave soul who dares enter the trails, you will not be disappointed. But, if you like to remain on the safe and cautious side of the evening there will be plenty of fun for you as well!
This Haunted Walk will be the first of hopefully many to strike the Oscar Scherer State Park. The walk is going to be held on October 25th and 26th between 8pm and 10 pm—the spookiest hours. To experience the frightening fun evening it will cost you your life—just kidding! It will only be a small $5 donation that goes toward the Nokomis Volunteer Fire Department, Friends of Oscar Scherer Park, Inc. and the Osprey Nokomis Chamber of Commerce. This event is supporting a great cause—the local community. Could you ask for anything better?
As mentioned previously, there will also be a not so scary trick-or-treat trail for the youngsters...and the more wary. The children will also enjoy costume contests, lots of kid-friendly activity stations, spooky sounds and much more. You can even grab a free refreshment and have some fun in the pumpkin patch!
Now, for those who are more daring, you will be scared stiff by the haunted woods trail. Venturing down that trail will definitely be a decision you will never forget!
Come join us on October 25th and 26th between 8-10 at night in Oscar Scherer State Park (1843 S. Tamiami Trail Osprey, FL 34229) to enjoy in the frights and delights of the First Annual Haunted Walk for just a small donation!
Enter if you dare. It is sure to be “A Frightfully Fun Time for the Howl Family!”
