Osprey's Remarkable Restaurants

Posted by Osprey Real Estate on

Osprey offers a number of southwest Florida's finest dining establishments - both casual and formal.

Named for the majestic seabirds that so regularly visit this coastal community only 10 miles south of Sarasota, Osprey is emerging as a destination of choice for those seeking to blend luxury waterfront living with small-town charm and neighborliness.
It's a captivating community that offers visitors and residents a natural setting, a laid-back lifestyle, and a number of southwest Florida’s finest dining establishments, both casual and formal.

Bentley’s Boutique Hotel, at 1660 South Tamiami Trail, is the site of two delightful Osprey restaurants. Morgan’s offers elegant dining Tuesdays through Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Enjoy Whisky Braised Short Ribs, Flax Seed Teriyaki Salmon, and a number of other dishes to delight the taste buds. Reservations are recommended. Also at Bentley’s, the Osprey Tiki Bar and Grill offers daily sandwich and drink specials and live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Hours are noon to 10:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays. There’s a daily happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Spanish Point Restaurant & Pub

The Spanish Point Restaurant & Pub, located at 135 Bayview Avenue, sits right on the Intracoastal Waterway and is accessible by boat as well as by land. Tasty seafood entrées and a variety of delicious beverages are always on the menu, along with spectacular sunsets and live music. Frankie's Pizza, at 1072 South Tamiami Trail, is much more than a “pizza joint.” It’s an Osprey institution, in business for more than 2 decades, with daily lunch and dinner specials. If you’re organizing a special event, check out Frankie’s catering services.

Bimini Bar & Grill

At the Osprey Harbour Village Marina, the Bimini Bar & Grill (576 Blackburn Point Road) offers waterfront dining and a fabulous sunset view. The restaurant is open every day from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Enjoy daily specials and a happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and all day on Sundays. Diners are invited to join Club Bimini for discounts and special offers.

Chicago restaurateur Mike Kodra opened Rosebud’s in 1995. Located at 2215 South Tamiami Trail, Rosebud’s features aged and hand-cut Black Angus steaks and fresh seafood along with chicken and veal entrées prepared “the Rosebud’s way.” Enjoy live Maine lobster when it’s in season. Rosebud’s also offers a children’s menu, and reservations are recommended.

Casey Key Fish House

The Casey Key Fish House, at 801 Blackburn Point Road, is the only restaurant on Casey Key. An “Old Florida” atmosphere, daily lunch specials, and entrées including Almond Snapper and Fresh Grilled Mahi-mahi have made the Casey Key Fish House one of Osprey’s most popular establishments. Laid-back fun, affordable prices, and an authentic Florida Tiki Bar are all part of the Casey Key Fish House experience. It’s open daily from 11:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Osprey remains a cozy, laid-back community, but Osprey’s residents and visitors enjoy a genuinely wide variety of splendid dining options.
